Last November 28 to December 1, the 13ª edition of the National Environmental Congress (CONAMA 2016) was held. Its aim is to enable the collaboration among the involved stakeholders in order to improve the knowledge and capacities related to the defence of the natural environment and the bio-diversity, the sustainable use of natural resources and the prevention of contamination and climate change. In this sense, the start of the circular economy, the biodiversity, and the mitigation and adaptation of the climate change have been the vertebrate axis of the congress activities.
In this framework, the project LIFE13 ENV/ES/000173 GREENZO actively participated in the bilateral meetings “B2B GREEN”. It aroused great interest, especially on regard the application of the zinc oxide obtained from non-ferrous metallic waste in the GREENZO’s pilot plant. This will allow establishing a potential collaboration with other entities for the development of future actions.
