Last 28 and 29 September was held in Valencia the 11st Edition of the Eco-Fira Fair, the international exhibition of environmental solutions and the gathering point of enterprises and public organisms in which the last advances in efficient environmental management are displayed and discussion and knowledge forum of environmental solutions.
According to the Fair words “The ECOFIRA offer joint all the fields of interest in environmental management, from the waste collection, transport and treatment to the valorisation and recycling of waste or waste elimination systems.
The European Project LIFE13 ENV/ES/000173 GREENZO “Demonstrative pilot plant for the material valorisation of non-ferrous metal waste”, made a presentation and exposed its roller up and commercial leaflet”, as a continuation of the dissemination actions aimed at implementing the outputs of the project into the market. All, the assistants to the presentation as the passing-by people showed great interest by the project and even a proposal to established a new pilot plant for the revalorisation of metallic waste, in this specific case, was received.
In the presentation, the main characteristics (moisture, thermogravimetric, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence) of the selected waste families to proceed to its material valorisation with the developed pilot plant, thus obtaining the appreciated Zinc Oxide (ZnO) were displayed, as well as the requirements to be achieved by the valorised ZnO to be suitable for its use in the two addressed demonstrators (cathalitic processes in the bioethanol reformed and in Caucho/EVA production processes).
